Your selection of typography for your interface acts as a visual communication tool. There’s more involved than whether to use a sans-serif font or a serif. Your decisions about typography in user interface design go beyond just how to select fonts, for example. Also, type sometimes refers to the process of working with text. Type is the style or appearance of text in itself. ![]() That makes it crucial to understand how to use typography effectively. What you write, how you write, and how that text looks all come together to make an impact. You can think of typography as the form that carries the substance of what you want users to find and learn. That’s why it’s important to keep your copy streamlined and efficient. In fact, how long users stay on your website or app will depend largely on your typographical choices.įor example, typography is half of your message when you include written copy on your website. So, the way you portray text has a huge bearing on your work as a user experience (UX) designer. ![]() It can significantly influence a user's experience with your product. This denomination has since been used for commemorative designs. When introduced, it was necessary to accommodate this new coin with seven existing denominations. The size of the two dollar was determined after consideration of the needs of the visually impaired community, security considerations, a desire to avoid shaped coins, practical limitations to the diameter and thickness of coins, and to allow for future expansion of Australia's circulating coin array. The rest of the features were derived from Roberts’ imagination and visual memory developed after drawing thousands of images of Indigenous people. Roberts used some features of Gwoya Tjungurrayi, otherwise known as One Pound Jimmy, as inspiration when creating a portrait depicting a traditional Aboriginal tribal elder. The selected design was inspired by an artwork by Ainslie Roberts and modified in line with coin production requirements. Numerous designers were invited to contribute designs for the two dollar coin based on a brief to include a representation of the head and shoulders of an Aboriginal Australian, the Southern Cross and Australian flora. The image on the Australian two dollar coin represents an archetype of an Aboriginal tribal elder, designed by Horst Hahne. Like the one dollar, the two dollar coin replaced the note of the same denomination which had a short service life through high use. Planning for a two dollar coin commenced around the same time as that for the one dollar coin. The two dollar coin was first introduced on 20 June 1988. ![]() Expense reportsĮxpense reports form a collection of expenses that an employee or a contractor has to be reimbursed for by a business owner. These invoices are not usually issued but are still relevant to know about. ![]() Mixed invoices have a combination of credit and debit amounts. Debit invoiceĪlso known as a debit memo or a debit note, the debit invoice is the opposite of a credit invoice - that’s to say, instead of deducting the amount from your invoice, you’ll add the amount to it (e.g., if you made an error in the previous month’s invoice and neglected to charge $100 that was owed, you’ll add that amount to this invoice’s subtotal). Credit invoiceĪlso known as a credit memo or a credit note, the credit invoice accounts for any amount that’s to be credited to the client.įor example, if there was an error in the previous month’s invoice and you added an additional $100 to the amount, the same amount will be deducted from this invoice. 4/6/2024 0 Comments Girl wedgie game![]() This is a hanging wedgie but with multiple pairs of underwear on. If done right the tennis ball should hold the underwear and not allow it to slip through the fence Once you have the victim’s waistband through the hole, place a tennis ball inside then twist the underwear and release. Once the underwear is secure hoist the victim up and tie off the other endĤ.Tennis Ball Wedgie:Give the victim a wedgie then pull the back of their underwear through the fence, ideal for a chain-link fence but you can also use a wooden fence if it has large enough gaps. Metal and wooden fences can be used, the ideal way is to get the boards or bars through the victim’s leg holes but if you’re unable to then you can just hook their waistband over the topģ.Flagpole Wedgie (aka Patriotic Wedgie): Give the victim a wedgie then attach their underwear to the rope of a flag pole. This might be the best method, to use in school.Ģ.Fence Wedgie: Give the victim a wedgie and lift them onto a tall fence. Hanging by the leg holes keeps the victim stuck longer but the hooks can be ripped off the wall. There are a few different techniques used:ġ.Coat Hook Wedgie: Give the victim a wedgie and lift them onto a set of coat hooks, one for each leg hole. It's best that you hang your victim by their leg holes, if you use the cloth right under the waistband it could tear away and end your fun too early. If done right the victim should be completely off the ground hanging only by their underwear. When the victim is wedgied and has their underwear hooked onto something high up. This wedgie was invented, on august in germany, where it was first performed on a girl, named Alina, in a public car park. Shove the piece of fabric, that has been between the victims Buttcheeks, into the victims mouth, to force her to taste her butt. After that, you should be able to comfortably pull the ripped thong over the victims head. Pin down the victim and pull the thong on the middle lace, until it rips. The victim needs to wear a thong, to get this working. The giver mounts the victim backwards, pinning them down to the floor. This way the underwear is more like a thong when it is in your butt because the front side of the underwear is not as wide as the back side.Ī very common wedgie technique, where the victim is lying on the belly. Push them over to force the victim to roll back and wedgie them, when their butt is pointing upwards.Ī wedgie where the victim has their underwear on backwards. Grab the legs of a victim, lying on their back. If over the head the waistband can be hooked over the nose or in the mouth (adding insult to injury the victim will be blinded by their underwear and forced to taste it). When the victim's underwear is pulled up so high that it either goes over the victim's head or it rips completely off. The end result should be the same either way, the victim should have their underwear hiked up an equal height all the way around (the higher the better). If with a group, have everyone take a side of the victim's underwear (one or two hands in the front, back, and sides). If solo, give the victim a normal wedgie then spin the around and give them a frontal wedgie, then if you like you can pull up the sides as well. So, have fun reading and especially: Have fun wedgieing your friends, partners, siblings, enemies and everyone who deserves it!Ĭan be done solo but easiest with two or more people. As alot of them don´t seem to be active anymore on the web, I can´t mention them all here, but AntiCherry93 has to be mentioned here. A special thanks to them, who collected these wedgie methods over the years. Note, that alot of these are taken from other users, who made compilations themselfes. OK, so for all people interested in wedgies I made a compilation, of all the wedgies I knew, found on the internet, and invented myself. To examine this further, consider the transverse waves in the ropes shown in Figure 3. The electric and magnetic fields are perpendicular to the direction of propagation. An EM wave, such as light, is a transverse wave. ![]() Thus we can think of the electric field arrows as showing the direction of polarization, as in Figure 2. For an EM wave, we define the direction of polarization to be the direction parallel to the electric field. (This is not the same type of polarization as that discussed for the separation of charges.) Waves having such a direction are said to be polarized. Polarization is the attribute that a wave’s oscillations have a definite direction relative to the direction of propagation of the wave. There are specific directions for the oscillations of the electric and magnetic fields. As noted earlier, EM waves are transverse waves consisting of varying electric and magnetic fields that oscillate perpendicular to the direction of propagation (see Figure 2). Light is one type of electromagnetic (EM) wave. Polarizing sunglasses are particularly useful on snow and water. As a result, the reflection of clouds and sky observed in part (a) is not observed in part (b). Part (b) of this figure was taken with a polarizing filter and part (a) was not. ![]() These two photographs of a river show the effect of a polarizing filter in reducing glare in light reflected from the surface of water. ![]() What is polarization? How is it produced? What are some of its uses? The answers to these questions are related to the wave character of light. Polaroids have this ability because of a wave characteristic of light called polarization. They have a special ability to cut the glare of light reflected from water or glass as shown in the figure below. Polaroid sunglasses are familiar to most of us.
